Description:
A program of Columbia Theological Seminary's Center for Lifelong Learning, Ministering to Ministers aims to ensure that ministers receive the support they need to navigate their own personal crises and continue their important work with resilience and renewed hope.
They advocate for the spiritual, emotional, physical, social, and legal support for ministers in all faith groups. Program offerings include:
o Therapy Assistance to cover the cost of three sessions with a trained therapist.
o Volunteers who are trained to join as additional support during the path to healing.
o Attorney Consultations to provide guidance on employment and severance issues.
o Wounded Ministers Retreats, the heart of the MTM program offering (annually).
