The Center for Being Known (CBK) offers Confessional Communities that create a transformative space where members can tell their stories more truly to become more fully known. This is done by:
o Fostering an environment where members feel seen soothed, safe, and secure
o Listening, attuning, and containing each other’s stories with heartfelt responses
o Embracing vulnerability
o Growing in receptivity to love from others
o Practicing repair after rupture
Over the course of 6–9 months, Confessional Communities move through a well-orchestrated series of movements that intend to facilitate a move from reflection of real life, “talking about” becomes “being with” through the sharing of mutual love and encouragement.
